Twenty-five

Lately I have had lots of things I thought about posting but I have been lazy and never got around to it. Don't worry, you didn't miss much. But, if you want to hear about my conversion from fat free yogurt to 99% fat free yogurt because of my fear of aspartame then I'll be happy to give you the full details later.

I thought I should ward off my laziness for this post because I legitimately want your help with something. I am turning 25 soon and I decided that I want to make goals/resolutions on my birthday every year instead of at New Years. I want to have 25 goals for when I'm 25. Some of them will be big (like running a marathon) and some will be little (like driving Alpine loop in the fall...finally). I've got a pretty good list going but, as my dear loved ones who know me well, what are some things that I've always talked about doing that I should include this year? The last thing I want is to be one of those people that is all talk. I think I have a slight problem with attention-span and I often have exciting ideas that end up getting lost in the shuffle. Please remind me of things I have mentioned or, even better, offer some of your own awesome suggestions. Isn't this fun?

I think you and I should actually try to make "The New and Improved" carmel apple! This would actually be a goal that both of us could check off :).

Oh and I think you should eat some pumpkin pie. :P.

I think that you should set a goal to watch more TV shows.

Happy birthday.

I've been stewing about this for a while now. I know you've had lots of goals (some pretty amusing) in the past, but I'm struggling to remember them now. Here are a few off the top of my head.

* fine tune your already delicious chocolate chip cookie recipe... an endeavor in which I've recently been an enthusiastic participant. YUM.

* backpack in Europe.

* perfect your bread-baking skillz... another goal I've directly benefitted from already.

* having an annual ladies' getaway at a beachside condo with a group of our long lost girlfriends.

* simply put: the cup-cake-pop venture. (I'm still really excited about this one.)

* take a photo each day and put together a visual "calendar" for each month. (Remember how we were going to do this starting Jan 1st 2008? Well, I only made it till about February. It's tough!)

* knit stuff.

* learn guitar.

* have your own business.

* breed lots of cute, fluffy bunnies. But I might have made that one up.

AND don't forget what is quite possibly your most important goal ever:

* record a Christmas album featuring yourself... whistling. Sure to be a chart-topper. ;)

I hope you had a wonderful birthday, Annie. Wish I could've been there to celebrate with you.

Speaking of breeding bunnies, I saw this program on Animal Planet the other day (I've been watching a lot of TV since Kelly's been out of town) where a guy in Germany selectively bred bunnies until he got one that was like 5 times the size of a normal bunny. Pretty cool.
